Looking for Mobo advice- socket 775

Hi, I'd posted previously with problems I'd had with the following build:

I'm having a devil of a time with the RMA process with XFX, and in case I wind up just having to eat the price of the mobo and buy a new one, any suggestions? Definitely need four slots for the RAM, other than that I'm open to suggestions.

Neither of those boards will allow SLI, but you're not going to find many fans of Nvidia chipset motherboards around here.

I'm rocking that mobo myself right now with an E8500 processor and it kicks major ass. I tried SLI on my previous machine but I was too dumb to research it first and wound up bottlenecking the performance so much, I got zero improvement so because of that I won't ever be trying SLI or Crossfire ever again.

+ 1 ^ AND...

The Asus PQ5 Pro, that is a board that is on the same level as the other Gigabyte board (UD3R), ALL great quality and you wont go wrong. I have both and i'll be honest, i wouldn't choose if i had one of each in front of me, i would rather just pick a number and be happy with any... i would just go with the best deal out of the two... there might be some good combo deals if u wanted to get a new CPU as well...
