Looking for modular power supply 500w no cables?

I need a power supply thats atleast 550w and that has (2) 6 pin connectors.

I have a Gigabyte Radeon R9 270 OC but it needs (2) 6 pins and my power supply only has 1.
I want to get a moudlar supply that doesnt come with a crap ton of cables. Only the ones that i need. I only have $30 in my pocket and want to get this power supply before the end of today but if not, thats fine ill just wait till payday.

The only cables that i need are: 20+4(24) pin connector, 4 pin 12v connector, (2) 6 pin connectors, 2 SATA Connectors and 2 molex connectors.

Thats all i need to get my computer up and running with this graphics card.

If the reason your looking for a new power supply is simply because it lacks a second 6 pin connector then i think u could instead simply use a molex to 6 pin adapter if you have 2 molex pins which are not being used. Have u checked if you got a molex to 6 pin adapter with your graphic card because I got one with my 280.

If the reason your looking for a new power supply is simply because it lacks a second 6 pin connector then i think u could instead simply use a molex to 6 pin adapter if you have 2 molex pins which are not being used. Have u checked if you got a molex to 6 pin adapter with your graphic card because I got one with my 280.

My computer only uses 1 molex connectors and then i have like 4 extra molex connectors just lying around in there.
So if i had the connector, i just connect one end into the molex and the other into the card?

exactly! did u check if you got one in the box of your graphic card? because i got one when i purchased my R9 280. My PSU (EVGA nex 750 B) also came with just a single 8 pin connector for the graphic card but since the adapter cable was included with the GPU also, i did not have to purchase it separately!

if your using only one molex connector currently, simply plug the other 2 molex connectors into the adapter and the other 6 pin end into the graphic card.

exactly! did u check if you got one in the box of your graphic card? because i got one when i purchased my R9 280. Unfortunately it did not come with the adapter cause the card came from ebay too.

Such as display issues. Its funny cause the guy at geeksquad told me that theres nothing to do but purchase another power supply... You just saved me about 70$! You are the absolute best.

One more thing, Does the adapter have to have 2 molex?

well from all the molex adapters that i have seen come with 2 molex to single six pin. The only thing i would worry about is voltage. I dont want you to end up damaging your components so just confirm with someone if this will work similarly on all power supplies. Since im not an expert on power supplies I dont know if all power supplies output the same voltage on their molex pins.
It worked absolutely well for me so i think u should be fine to ....but confirm this with someone more experienced to be 100% sure.

The reason why your PSU only came with one 6-pin PCI-E power connector is because of its weak +12V rail. Connecting a dual 4-pin Molex peripheral to 6-pin PCI-E adapter cable may/will exceed the safe maximum +12V current capacity of that PSU.

I agree, it seems like you have a generic PSU which may not be the best to experiment with!

A very good unit at a price that is simply insane right now. I have been recommending that everybody get one of these, and also picked up one myself. Just too good to pass up.

I looked at that earlier. i see that it says $25 on pc partpicker but it says $60 on the newegg page. How do i get it for $25? im confused

There's a $10 discount if you enter a promo code (which they give you right on the product page), and a $25 mail-in rebate also on the page. So you've got to put out $50 temporarily, but well worth it for that deal.

It's a mail-in rebate. You have to pay $60.99 up front, or $50.99 if you enter the special promo code, and mail in all of the qualifying forms, receipt copy and UPC bar code before the explicitly stated expiry date and wait for it to be approved. The process usually takes many weeks. If it's approved you will receive a $25 prepaid credit card that may/will have an administration fee charged against it every month if you haven't spent the card's entire amount within a month of receiving it.
