Hi,
Was wondering if anyone knows good manufacture/chipset that will allow to run 4x GPUs either 16x gen3 or 8x gen4 full.

This is for AI project and GPUs need to run at the full speed.

I have found Asus WS X299 SAGE SSI but don't need so many slots and was hoping for something cheaper (if there even is an option).

Thank you in advance.

You're not going to find anything cheaper than either something from a high-end desktop system or servers. And even then, you need to find a CPU that has at least 64 PCIe lanes, assuming that count doesn't include the lanes for the chipset and NVMe slot.

So yeah, there's no "something cheaper" out of this.
