looking for my lost word document which has turned into an exe file

i deleted my word document from my flash by mistake and im now seeing the same word document but this time its saying exe file and it is refusing to open.what can i do please help.i cannot even find it in my computer

If you deleted it, how are you seeing it? Did you try to recover it with a utility? Seems like you are missing some information in your post. Try renaming the document to a .doc and see if you can open it then.
