Just recently bought a r9 390x and I'm now looking for my next few upgrades. I used to have a r9 270x and tbh when i put the 390x in i didn't really notice much improvement. I don't know if I'm bottlenecking or what, but here is my current setup.

I'm probably open to putting another $500 or so into this pc, so just let me know what would be the best next course of action.

Would you say my current cpu, motherboard, and memory are bottlenecking my GPU or is this just the next logical upgrade?

Now I've been seeing quite a bit about the new zen processors that should be coming out later this year.

Do you think it might be worth waiting on a processor and maybe just upgrading my cooling? I'm assuming for the 6600k i would have to upgrade my cooler anyways.

The 6600k produces about half the heat than your processor, so I wouldnt worry.
Honestly, everyone (including me) wants Zen to perform well. Realistically, I dont think it will be enough to top a 6600k. If you want to wait you could probably get a better processor you have now, but I dont see it being better than a 6600k.
