I am looking to build a desktop gaming/ multi media PC that can also do video editing, that will be next to my living room tv.
I want something to last and wont need to upgrade in the next few years. It will be connected to a 4k tv.
Will need it to run quiet but yet super fast with great video quality with plenty of storage.
With a good warranty on hardware.
Any suggestions?

Solution
You have a few options depending on how far you want to go. This is just to show you what is possible and I am sure you can find better options especially on pricing...Also the new GTX 2080ti is coming out and that would be the very best option on GPU's...

First is the good old 8700K and 1080Ti route which will give you a great balance between work and play with pretty much the best gaming setup and yet still great at the vedio editing. The motherboard is great, I know as I have it as well as the 8700K with 5GHz no issues..I...

Anyway below are some thoughts on what you can get and how far you can go..
