What happened to your build here;
?

To add, stylize your post like this;
so we're informed of what we're walking into. Most times people don't convey the right info and we're left suggesting something else instead.

I am just going to say if future upgrades is what you want, AM5 is the way to go. It has support for at least 2 more years, with the potential for even longer, as AMD has stated 2025+. 13th gen is the end of the line, for Intel's current socket. You are limited to a 13900k, max, and anything next gen would need a new motherboard, as well.

Start with a quality(10 year warranty) PSU of 850w.
That will be needed for a 3080.
Probably the best gaming cpu value today will be the
I5-13600k. Here is a review:
https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/intel-core-i9-13900k-i5-13600k-cpu-review
Buy the K version(not KF); you never know when you need graphics diagnostics.
With ram prices reasonable, look for 2 x 16gb DDR4 3600.
Most any B660motherboard will do.
The value of the
Z boards is overclocking which is not as effective as turbo.

Lastly, as a practical matter,do not plan on upgrading the cpu.
In two years new products will make such an upgrade not so attractive.

Intel is due to release the locked cpu's along with the B760 boards January 3rd.

Add an SSD to this build.

Rear exhaust fan for that case.

EVGA SuperNOVA 850W G6 80+ Gold Modular PSU £99.98

B760 DDR5 Motherboard £170 +/- for an ATX board

Intel Core i5 13400F (6 cores / 16 threads) £200 if I had to guess

Scythe FUMA 2 Rev B Air Cooler £63.95

As a practical matter, I see that most who make a significant upgrade will do so on an entirely new platform. In two years, all will change.
I have not checked ddr4/5 prices and components lately.
I the costs are not too different, I am ok with ddr5.
