Looking for new cpu and gpu

Hey guys i want to upgrade pc
Currently i have
i5 4440k paired with
Gtx 960 2gb OC
8 gb ddr3
So heres my question is
I have 144hz monitor
And i play games at 1080p for now
I m thinking for a new cpu
So heres what i thought maybe a
i7 4790k because i have LGA 1150 socket already
With gtx 1070
If this cpu bottleneck this gpu plz tell me and is it really worth upgrading to 6th gen or my 4th gen is fine .?

4th gen is almost as fast as 6th gen. Don't bother changing to socket 1151.

That said, there are always bottlenecks. Any CPU will bottleneck any GPU sometimes, even low-end GPUs. What's more important is whether the CPU you're getting will deliver the framerates you want in the games you play.

Does this affect streaming like i will be streaming and want to use most of my cpu
