SPECS:
OS:WINDOWS 10

Processor: Intel core i5 4690k @ 3.50ghz (4 cpus)
GPU: Nividia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Memory: 8GB

Solution
Player unknown is a very CPU intensive game and GTA V can be as well. I don't think you need an upgrade to be honest, an overclock will help you a bit (4.4GHz+ should be easily attainable). Those games both realistically use a max of 4 threads, maybe even fewer for PUBG. With a 4690K you're using 100% of your 4 threads, with a 4790K you'd be using 50% of your 8 threads and the performance would be pretty much the same. I have a 4670k @ 4.4GHz (basically same CPU) with a 980 ti and I can play PUBG just fine with ~60fps in crowded towns and ~100-120fps in open areas. You should be getting somewhat similar performance if you turn down the visual settings.
