Looking for new gpu.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: next few weeks, <150$

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: should be used as a a multiseat gpu for mainly normal usage and mild gaming of one of the users and for the htpc.

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: ATI Radeon HD 3650 and thermaltake 550W PSU - TR2-
RX

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: GB-ep43 ds3l, intel e8400, 2 gigs of ram from kingston.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: just need a recommendation but newegg.com can be useful for viewing.

PARTS PREFERENCES: ATI.

OVERCLOCKING: nope
SLI OR CROSSFIRE: nope

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1280x1024X2 for the users, 1920x1080 for the htpc

all three users won't be active at the same time, (it will be at most 2 users or one dormant and the htpc playing) I'm planing to upgrade the system later on, so the htpc will get its own card later on.
I need the card to have 2 dvi outputs and one hdmi output.
if I might decide to get blueray drive later on but I don't know if HDCP support is needed.
also, keep in mind that the os is linux.

Well for gaming at 1080p most would recommend the GTX 460 and the HD5770 if you can't afford that. The HD5750 is a notch below that. It will still do alright but you'll usually have to leave AA off and you'll need to turn down settings on a lot of the more intensive current games.
If you don't really care about DX11 then you can also consider the HD4850 or GTS 250 as they are very close in performance to the HD5750 and usually notably cheaper.

gaming at 1080p is irrelevant due to the fact that I use linux and ati doesn't give a flying crap about us.
I can do only with ati because I can split the feeds to the right connectors using the foss driver.
with nvidia closed driver I cannot split the feeds and as easy and the foss is worse then the ati driver.

HD5670 doesn't have 2 dvi outputs

Yes so the HD5750 is good for you, you didn't seek one card with 2 DVI port and 1 HDMI and under 150$ ? I took the HD4850 as example

mmm seems that HD4850 might do the trick, but it is still way expensive here, it is 20$ below the HD5750
