I have a 90-100$ budget and looking for some amd cards that'll go well with my current rig.

Gigabyte MA74GMT-S2 (PCI-e 1.0)
Athlon II X2 250 3GHz
4GB (2x2) DDR3 RAM
450w stock PSU

I'm looking at 7770 and R7 250 right now but I'm worried my PSU can't handle it.
And which is the better one to get, 7770 or R7 250?

Better stay with the R7-250 unless you want to upgrade the PSU too.
The R7-250 is a 65W card, the HD-7770 is a 80W card and requires a 6 pin: http://www.hwcompare.com/15329/radeon-hd-7770-vs-radeon-r7-250/
Have you considered Nvidia?

tbh I don't know a thing about Nvidia cards cos I've never even considered them, but still, if there's a good card matching my budget and rig I'd love to hear some suggestions

Now you are up to a 95W card: http://www.hwcompare.com/16728/radeon-r7-250x/
Can you read the nameplate on the side of the PSU?

The GTX 750 Ti is only a 60W card and (most) requires no 6 pin. It beats the R7-250: http://www.hwcompare.com/17289/geforce-gtx-750-ti-vs-radeon-r7-250/

That is the primary side info. You need the secondary side. It will be on a nameplate on the side of the PSU inside the PC.
If you can, tell me the +12V rating in amps (A) and watts (W).
