Hello everyone, i am looking for a brand new graphics card to run every game at 60fps at pretty good settings. My specs are"
GPU:1050ti
CPU:inteli5 4690k at 4.3ghz 1.25v
Mobo: gigabyte z87 gaming 3
OS: windows 10

Problem: I dont get 60 fps on high settings in "Player Unknown's Battlegrounds"

Solution
Any 1060 will be fine, but make sure you get a 6 GB one, NOT a 3 GB one - the 3 GB one is slower. Any 1060 6 GB card that seems to please you aesthetically will be good. They all perform the same, only the cooler is different on all of them.
If you can find one, the RX 580 8 GB will run almost all current games at 1080p at good settings(high on AAA, ultra on eSports and casual). But since they have pretty much nonexistent stocks, the GTX 1060 6 GB is the second best option out there right now, for 1080p. If you want to play everything at Ultra/Max settings, ya need a 1070. Otherwise the RX 580 or the GTX 1060 6 GB, both will be good choices.

Oh, one more thing. Player Unknown's Battlegrounds(we need an abbreviation for this game) is also CPU-intensive, so it's not necessary that a GPU upgrade will get you better FPS. When playing with your current setup, does the 1050Ti's usage remain fixed at 100%? If it doesn't, you need a better CPU rather than GPU. But if it does, a better GPU will get you better FPS.

it already have one, it's PUBG (Player Unknown's BattleGround)

1050 TI are for budget gamers, it wasn't meant for playing AAA games in high setting, if u want to play those kind of games in high setting, here's few choice:
RX 580 8 gb
1060 6 gb
or if u can afford more:
1070 8 gb

of course, upgrading the GPU is not the only thing u should do, u should consider on getting an i7 too so that your GPU won't be bottlenecked by your CPU
btw, most games right now use 8gb RAM so u should consider on getting them too if yor ram is still lower than that
remember 'bout your PSU too

Yup, a better GPU is in order then. Like both of us have said, either an RX 580 8 GB or a GTX 1060 6 GB will give you better FPS. And if you to go even higher, the GTX 1070 is the maximum you really should go for 1080p. Of course you can go higher, but I won't recommend doing that without a CPU upgrade.

while what he said is true, actually the ceiling for 1080p are RX 580 and GTX 1060, GTX 1070 are meant for 1440p gaming, that's why playing on 1080p with it gives u overflowing fps which will be a waste if ur monitor refresh rate is low

I agree dude. just remember about the PSU, make sure the PSU is good and powerful enough to support your PC

RX 580 and 1060 are on par in terms of 1080p high setting gaming, so ur 1050ti to are about 2 tier below them (1 tier below them are rx 470 and on par gpu)
Against a 1070, hell don't u even need to mentioned it, it was meant for 1440p high gaming and even able to play on 4k, So it's on a whole different playground. 1050ti are targeted for 1080p low-med settings

Any 1060 will be fine, but make sure you get a 6 GB one, NOT a 3 GB one - the 3 GB one is slower. Any 1060 6 GB card that seems to please you aesthetically will be good. They all perform the same, only the cooler is different on all of them.

Solution

1060 3 gb had 10% of its resources cut down from the main 6 gb
if you're planning on buying 1060, different brand have different cooling solution, and different style, but if you're looking for the cheapest, usually Galax / Zotac is the brand u want to consider
if u need the coolest and most silent, Asus and MSI seems to be the main contender here
but remember the fact that each card from each brand had their own characteristic like for example: different clock speed (some are factory-OCed, even OC clock from each brand can be different, some are stock-clocked)
then again, don't let my opinion cloud your judgement, choose the one u really interested in

that's coz u haven't been through my situation :v
u ever tried playing dota 2 with lowest setting and still get 15 fps max? i've been through that ordeal, so every fps matters to me :v
(just sharing my experience here, no offence)
