Looking for new mobo

So i believe that my current mobo is broken because im getting terrible fps in games and ive checked everything.. so now im looking for a new one but i know nothing about picking one so if you please could help me choose one id be greatful.

I dont want anything super expensive, 4 ram slots would be nice but not a must have. 2 gpu slots but not must have since i dont have 2 gpus at least yet.
I have an i5-2500k and 8gb of ddr3 ram (2stcks)

well you have a 2nd gen CPU, LGA 1155, 32GB Max , 95w thermal @ 72c can use DDR3 1066/1333
so that will limit you a little...

I found a refurbed board at new egg 75$ end in 3 days instead of 125.$

ASRock P67 PRO3 SE LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
4 ram slots dual video slots, P67 chipset (so not as performant as you had.)

so you have choices, depends on budget as well.. the refurb board is tempting for the price.,
