Hi, so my computer has been blue screening a lot, and I haven't been able to fix it. It's a new build, so I'm thinking that I will just rma my msi k9n4 sli while I still can and switch motherboards and try that. I've already sent in the mail in rebate for one of my 2gig sets, so I don't really want to return those. Plus, memtest runs fine on them, so I don't think that they're the problem.

I'm looking for a good motherboard with decent overclocking features since I have an x2 5000+ black edition,
also, i need it to support this ram:http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16820211174
With regards to graphical options, I was considering buying an hd 3850 512 meg, so I think crossfire would be a good option.
Or would you still suggest sli because of the 8800gt 256 megs? They're both around the same price, only crossfire boards seem to be cheaper.

Thanks for the help people, I appreciate it.

I'd be wary if I have that ram rated at 2.0-2.1v & M2N32-SLI cuz the board had problems with high voltage ram. *cough* OCZ *cough* Not sure if things changed. I'd steer clear of that mobo if I couldn't borrow low voltage ram. i.e. Kingston. FWIW, I had that very same board & ocz ram.

BTW, have you tried upping vdimm to 2.0-2.1v?

When does it BSOD? While p2p'ing on XP? Or randomly like once a day or every 2 days?

I suggest Biostar TF560 A+. Look at my sig. It overclocks pretty well. Phenom bios ready. If you prefer more expensive boards, try EVGA 590 SLI, MSI K9N SLI Platinum & MSI K9A Platinum.

That BIOSTAR TF560 A+ is only $69.99 on newegg... this is why I'm sticking with AMD since they offer a better motherboard layout and price. Would you recommend a BIOSTAR over a ABIT or MSI board? I have no experience with BIOSTAR.

For price & performance, the Biostar Tforce is unbeatable. It's the same for the old ABIT Infinity - very good overclockability, minus some fancy features for cheap.

I never had a problem with Biostar. This is a 2nd one from them. The 1st was 550SE - cpu multi limited to x13; new bios supports higher multipliers, but came too late. TForce is their overclocking series.

ah crap, i ordered the m2n already before reading the last couple of posts, hopefully it'll work, if not I'll turn to the TForce. It's funny because that was my original choice, but then I decided that I wanted sli support. Except really thinking about it, I would never drop the extra 200 dollars to get another video card. It seems kind of like a waste of money. So, hopefully it'll work out with the asus board, but if not I'll go for the biostar board. I've already cut out a upc on one of the adata packages for a rebate so I don't think I can return it anymore... =(
