Looking for new mouse (G5 Replacement!)

Hello All!

I need some help! My Logitech G5 (Click here for link) is on its last legs -- at least I think lol. It's almost 9 years old and still works fine, but I know it only has a limited time left.

I'm looking for a replacement that satisfies these categories:

1: Same, if not very similar shape/ergonomics. This mouse fits my hand perfectly, and if you look at the reviews and $300+ price tag for a new one you can see why.
2: 2 thumb buttons in same area (It can have more, don't mind...but, I only need the two.)
3: A scroll wheel with left, and right buttons -- this is a must and something I use all the time.
4. Something very light (I use this with all of the weights out). I have bad tendinitis and this is a huge plus of the mouse.

Here's some things I would prefer, but don't need.

1: Basic looking mouse. I absolutely hate the flashy gaming mice (especially logitech lol)
2: Braided cable.
3: Great for FPS games.
4: Works with Windows 10 (It needs to at least be compatible, but doesn't need its own super custom software.)


Here are some mice I've been looking at:

1: Logitech G500
2: Logitech G502
3: Zowie EC 1A (No tilt on scroll button, which is huge deal breaker)


I know the G5 series mice were largely loved. But, I would really like to get ready to replace it now. What mice with similar ergonomics and performance would you recommend?

Definitely go with the G502, it's an excellent mouse all-round and has great software to back it up
