Looking for new ssd

I have 2 hard drives 3 and 6 Tb for storage. I have a 500gb ssd for my windows and current use of the pc. I want to purchase another ssd for current work, learning programming and autocad, savings videos and may be get a game. Because of the numerous rewrite, would it be better to purchase a hard drive (mechanical) which last longer or a SSD?

Also, does it worth spending 70$ to purchase samsung 860 Pro over samsung 850 Evo?<

Modern SSDs last very long time, likely to outlive any HDDs and their usefulness.
