I'm trying to find a nice full size keyboard that's got laptop key feel to it. I bought a Lenovo keyboard last summer and the keys are already sticking. They weren't great to begin with and it had good reviews but it's not worth what I paid for it. My dad has a keyboard we bought in the late 80's and it's still amazing. Surprising how crummy they make these things now. I love the feel of my T61 laptop but I really want a full size keyboard for my main system. It's got to have the standard layout. Not one of these deals where they cram the arrow keys into a little diamond and change the layout of the home/end/pageup/pagedown keys. Standard regular numeric keypad as well. I want regular old school stuff. And I'm not a gamer. I don't need all sorts of bells and whistles. Doesn't need to be backlit but that would be okay since I work late at night sometimes and don't turn on a lot of lights. Gotta have full size shift/enter/backspace keys too. Not split either. Standard shape and size. Not ergonomic. I don't get why the mfrs of these things change the layouts around. My muscle memory hates that! :pt1cable: . So anyway, does anyone have a suggestion as to what to get? Again, just want a standard size/layout keyboard with laptop type keys. They are so nice to type on! I don't mind spending a little for it since I'm on the computer all day long. I don't need to buy a $17 keyboard. If it's $70, $80 or whatever that's cool. Just as long as it's not much over $100. It doesn't need email/web/audio controls on it either but that would be a nice perk. USB so I can use it in my Linkskey switch box but PS2 would be acceptable. Doesn't have to be wireless. In fact I'd sort of rather not. Okay, I think I covered everything. 😀

Thanks for the reply but it's not really even close. It misses on most of my criteria. Most importantly it doesn't have laptop keys. I saw a regular full size keyboard at a local computer store about 5 or 6 years ago that was based on laptop keyboard technology. I wish I'd bought it back then. I can't seem to find one like it. The action on most laptop keyboard keys is amazing. It makes for very fast accurate typing but for the layout being different than standard keyboards. This one probably comes close as far as the key action goes but the layout is total nonsense. http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-diNovo-Edge-Keyboard-Black/dp/B000J43HJ8. Really not sure why all the keyboard mfrs change layouts around all the time. It'd be like deciding to switch the gas pedal and the clutch pedal around once in a while just for the heck of it. Why do that?
