Greetings nocry:

Well, this is going to be interesting - someone who doesn't want a gaming laptop!

With a budget of $1,500 you can pretty much buy a handful of capable laptops that will meet your requirements. Check out these laptop review links:

http://www.laptopmag.com/reviews/laptops/lenovo-thinkpad-t450s
and
http://www.ultrabookreview.com/2404-14-15-inch-ultrabooks/

Personally, I'd recommend the Lenovo Thinkpad T450 with a 14-inch FHD anti-glare screen (click the link in the review to go to Lenovo). I know it's a bit smaller than you requested but for pure business/productivity purposes, it does the job like no other laptop on the market. And since it's ultimately based on the old indestructable IBM T-design, it will continue to do the job for a great many years ahead.

Best of luck,
GreyCatz.
