Hello, I'm making my first PC from scratch. I've picked out all the parts and I have a few questions. First off, here are my intended parts :
CPU: i7-4790K Haswell Quad Core 4.0 GHz
Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth Z97 Mark I
GPU: GTX 970 SC ACX 2.0
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 1600 MHz
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB
PSU: EVGA 220-G2-0750-XR
Optical Drive: ASUS 24x DVD Burner
SSD: Crucial M500 240 GB

1) Will these parts work well together? Are there any parts that will conflict with one another?
2) What kind of case should I get? Will any case work with this build, or does it have to be a specific type?
3) With regards to the fans, should I get one good fan, or a couple of decent fans to cool off my system?
4) Any other pieces of advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you very much in advance!

Solution
1) All good
2) Any case that accepts an ATX MB.
3) Anything more than a front intake and rear exhaust will be unneeded if the case has a top vent (IMO). But more fans are in vogue it seems like.
4) If this is mainly for gaming, you won't gain anything by going to the i7. You can save yourself a hundred bucks by grabbing an i5 instead.
