Looking for opinions on a $800-850 gaming pc

Hello, Im as new as it can get to this site and building computers, Ive been researching for about a week or so. I need some opinions on what is good or not and if certain things are compatible or not. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to decide to order from a custom build site or get everything from newegg too. I would like to get a fully fuctional pc (no monitor) but with mouse, keyboard, optical drive, hard drive, video card, mother board etc.

This looked like a good bundle to me, I wanted the i5 750 for the extra performance. I honestly dont need a 1.5 TB of hard drive, 500 GB is fine but ill take the 1.5 TB. I dont know much about the case but it looks cool and the some of the reviews were good.

I'm almost building this comp around it. $160 after rebate
and if anyone has any mouse/keyboard bundles or deals that would be great. I do have some keyboards and mice to choose from but any opinions and suggestions are appreciated.
I also want a computer that will last, i got the video card DX11 so i can play future games as well but I'm mainly going to be playing source games and maybe a few others.

Thats a nice build, go ahead with that if you ask me, however if you can get a small HDD combo for significantly less, go with that, but if not, stick with 1.5TB for sake of it.
And on mice, get a sidewinder x3 i think it is, and those logictech illuminated keyboards look pretty mean. Both are 30-50$ each i think

thanks for the advice, but i did make a nice computer on PCUSA. I heard the problems with these custom computer sites is that they vague with what you are getting and give cheap products. But I got everything i need at the site for $801 (no including shipping, which is rushed btw because of a special.) It has everything im getting from newegg (maybe not the exact brands) but I got a keyboard, mouse, speakers, 22X DVD driver, and thermal display for the front of my computer. Its the same build (probably not the brands) but i did get more even though the keyboard/mouse/speaker combo is about $7 total. lol
What do you recommend? Much more stuff for cheaper products (pcusa) or less stuff for good quality? (newegg)
Also comment on my build at the top, thank you for help so far.

Less stuff for better quality, frankly a peripheal combo for 7$ is bound to be horrible quality, your much better spending around 20$ on each peripheal.

And on your build, more or less the exactly same thing im looking at getting, also at a good price. Lots of decent components in there as well

Thanks pineapple. Any ideas on a good optical drive? And does the case come with the case fans or not? and is there much difference between the 5770 and 5750?

Any optical drive will do, 25$~ dollars will do, anything from samsung, liteon etc will do fine. Just make sure its a SATA drive.
The case comes with 4 fans, 120mm ones at front side and rear, and one 140mm one on top, which is more then sufficent
And there is a kinda big difference in between them, look at this article

5770 tends to have 25% or so better performance over the 5750

I saw that the 4980 radeon did really well! pretty much as good at 2 crossfired 5770. do you think its worth the extra $40 to get it?

If you want the extra performance go ahead with the 4890, if you want DX11 and less power consumption go with 5770

And everything in your setup is compatible
