i had a thread on here a while ago asking about a full computer but instead i ended up buying a barebones system with no graphics card. It is, according to the guy at novatech "ready to plug in any graphics card".

I have about £400 this month and the 3 cards I can find that look good are:

Nvidia GTX980 4GB GDDR5
PNY k2200 4GB GDDR5
Radeon r9 390X 8GB GDDR5

I have
Gigabyte Z97 motherboard
Intel I5 4460 at 3.2Ghz
8GB DDR3 1600Mhz
750w power supply

Just looking for people's opinions, if they have or have ever used these cards which is the best for gaming performance. Also with the GTX980 there are a lot of different types so if someone could help with that as well i would be very grateful.

Thankyou

The k2200 is not a gaming card, it is a workstation card.

Between the r9 390x and 980 its a pretty balanced performance, so get whichever card is cheaper.
