Looking for opinions on radiator choice and fan recommendations

I plan on getting two black ice nemesis GTS series slim radiators (30mm thick) with very low speed fans, A 360mm in the top and a 280mm on the front.

Are the GTS series worth buying over say ekwb's SE radiators which are slightly cheaper?

What fans would people suggest for very low speeds and general quietness with rads? (pwm fans would be preferable so i can set fan curves with gpu temps)

it is only going to be cooling a 4790k and a 390x overclocked so i understand it might be overkill in terms of radiator space but i want it as quiet as possible and for it to look aesthetically pleasing as my side panels are made of pure glass

Some pressure drop, flow rate and max static pressure tech stuff for you www.extremrigs.net , so GTS and SE (almost all slim radiator are highly restrictive) series are rather high restrictive radiator = you need at least strong pump such as D5 or DDC 3.2 if you happen to be use high restrictive CPU and GPU waterblock. For price/performance you can get Koolance HX-CU1020 that work better on fast fan (if noise won't be issue with you), this slim should fit on top (~33mm + 25mm thick fan).

4790K @ 4.5GHz = 150 watt
390X = 400-500 watt
= ~ 600 watt peak. Usually only certain program such as LUX RENDER that will push both CPU and GPU at their peak, for gaming the peak onlu last couple seconds which should be fine if you use two GTS 360 (~500 watt dissipation capacity).

I sugest you use HWLABS Nemesis GTX 280 on front with four fan push-pull as exhaust and Koolance HX-CU1020 on top with slim fan (15-20mm thick fan) if turn out 33mm+25mm nudge motherboard.

Is Phanteks Luxe tempered glass your case? if so you can use top 420mm radiator up to 60mm thick + 25mm thick fans.

Regarding fans, check out thermalbench.com. They test fans using a Swiftech radiator with 12 FPI, so the results they present should be very close to what you'll see in your build (the radiators you mention are 16 FPI).

From what I can see for 120s, the be quiet Silent Wings 2 and 3 are some of the quietest at low speeds. The EKWB Vardar F2-120s are also worth mentioning, but I highly recommend checking the charts for yourself.

For the 140s, the EKWB F2-140s are very good performers, as are the Blacknoise NB-eLoop B14-3s and Corsair ML140 Pros (at low speeds).

I was planning on an ek d5 pump/res combo with ek supremacy evo plexi cpu block and eks non reference msi 390x gpu block, i dont know if they're more restricting than other alternatives?
the case im using is the phanteks evolv atx tempered glass so max i can fit is a 360 in the top i believe, i also can only fit a 280 in the front as i want use of the hdd cage underneath

will a gtx really be necessary when i have 640mm of rad space for 2 components? I was planning on the excessive radiator space to make up for the width of the slim rads and lower speed fans

Awesome I shall have a look through the site and see whats what
I do like be quiets fans, i have some case fans by them but theyre not compatible with radiators due to how theyre mounted which is unfortunate as i would of just used them for now an buy better ones in the future when the wallets not so light.
thinking maybe i should just jury rig them and see how they go aha

Evolv is 60mm top clear from motherboard, 120mm front clear from 282mm long VGA, as reviewers tested, EK supremacy EVO is low restriction and high flow optimize (thermalbench test). If aesthetic isn't priority you can use Alphacool Eisbaer Solo (pump+reservoir+CPU waterblock all in one) + EKFC R9 390X TF5 + XSPC AX 280 + any slim 360 rad on top + Silent wings 140, problem is R9 390X is most likely contribute biggest heat so AX 280 needs to have four 140mm fans in push pull (it be first heat exchange coming out of 390 > pass through 360 rad) with 1500RPM silent wings 140 on AX 280 plotted to solely cool R9 390X.
Suggested loop:
Eisbaer > top 360 rad > R9 390X > AX 280 > eisbaer. or Eisbaer > AX 280 > R9 390X > top 360 rad > eisbaer
