Hello, this is my first time asking this kind of question so please bear with me patiently!
I'm just looking for a better overall experience while gaming.

Intel Pentium G4560 Kaby Lake 2 cores 4 threads 3.5GHz BOX cooling
MSI GeForce GTX 1050 2xfan, 1xradiator
MSI H110M PRO-D
8GB RAM
1TB HDD drive
SilentiumPC Brutus M10 case

I'm not sure where to start with the whole upgrade, was looking forward to buying a new processor, but I'd like to hear some other people's opinions.

Solution
If you update your BIOS, you can also use 7000 series Intel CPUs. The i5-7600 shouldn't cost more than the 6600. If it does cost substantially more then the 6600 it isn't worth it however.

Also, if it somehow fits your budget, getting an i7-7700 or i7-6700 would be even better, the extra threads will let you keep that CPU for longer before having to upgrade again.

does that mean dark souls 3 the witcher or final fantasy XV ---> Upgrade gpu
or does that mean call of duty csgo pubg league dota. ----> Upgrade cpu

Ram should be in dual channel if that isnt already.

if u have got money leftover you can buy a 250gb , your pc will feel way more responsive , snappier, things load faster. its a blessing imo.

Thanks for the response and help, just to clear things up for anyone else willing to help, I play more of the second type of the games you've mentioned. I have 2x4GB RAM, and was thinking about a SSD drive, but im not sure about it rn.

thats a fairly weak powersupply, how do |I know this? from the spec page and the fact there isnt any review for the unit.
you can upgrade your cpu , no problem ( and I recommand this too).

But for the graphics card, I would recommand you to replace this psu.
