Looking for quality, but affordable surge protector.

As title says, im looking for a surge protector to protect my high end gaming pc (parts in my signature). As you can see its a fairly exepensive rig so id definitely like to keep it safe.
Not really sure how good you really need to get to protect a pc. If it makes any difference I don't really need a ton of plug ins on the surge protector, its really just to plug my pc and monitors into.

I've had these 2 recommended to me so far, are they any good? is there others that are better around same price point? I expected a good surge protector to be $20-$30, is this assumption right or is a good one more?

For a lot of years, the correct answer for 'better than average' surge supression is ISOBAR:

What makes it better? Better parts, supression BETWEEN outlets, not just from power line surges, and more fire safety.

Most surge supressors use a single part called a MOV that costs about 12 cents to provide safety for your equipment. Surprisingly, that actually works REALLY WELL... which is why my computer is on a $7 power strip. What do you get from the Belken? An extra MOV to protect your phone line (Since you'll be doing lots of dial up modem work...) or for your cable television plug (OK, that's helpful if you are using a cable modem.

You also get lots of insurance in case you ARE struck by lightning.

Better quality surge supressors also provide shutdown if the MOV isn't present.

Which is helpful because a MOV works by INCINERATING ITSELF when a surge comes through. My cheap power strip will provide protection for one event, then it won't have a MOV anymore, and my computer looks as though it will be protected, but it actually has no protection because the MOV is already gone.

So the higher dollar surge supressors are worth the extra money. I personally trust ISOBAR because years ago they had big coils and capacitors to catch powerful but not lightning quality surges and handle them over and over. I figure there is a possibility that I'll have a minor event (not lightning level) and it would be helpful for those things to be caught and handled without the surge supressor becoming unusable.

That looks like exactly what I need and it isnt stupidly expensive. Whats the difference between that and this one? edit: im just going to assume the only difference is the diagnostic lights and get the ultra version, spec seem to be the same, just like $1 more for the diagnostic lights.
