i'm almost done with upgrading my pc, the only thing i'm missing is RAM.
At the moment, i'm using my old (ancient) Silicon power 4GB x2 1333MHz ram, and i'm looking for a proper upgrade. I don't really have a specified budget for it.
My gaming rig is in my signature and i'd really appreciate any advice you guys could give me, as well as a reason why since i'm still learning about hardware and i'd like to know what should i pay my attention to next time.
I'm aware of some quality RAM brands, such as G.Skill and Corsair, but some of the things confuse me, such as seeing a video reviews on Youtube from trustworthy source saying how RAM speed almost doesn't matter at all and right after that seeing some threads here, where our forum members state that ''gaming would suggest 1600/1866'' (Link to the one of the threads: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1758859/type-ram-buy-matter.html).
