I'm looking for advice on which monitor to purchase. Would anyone have recommendations of 2 or 3 monitors to get me started? Here are my requirements:
1. What Is Your Country Of Origin?
US
2. What do you plan to do with this monitor? (ex. Games, Movie Watching, Photo Editing, etc.)
Games (mainly 3: RPG, MMO, Strategy), Work (mainly productivity software)
3. What resolution and screen size do you want?
Looking for 24" to 27" screen size, Matte screen preferred
Open to suggestion on resolution
4. What refresh rate do you want? (ex. 60 hz , 70 hz.)
at least 120 Hz but open to suggestions if that is cost prohibitive
5. How much are you looking to spend?
up to 350 per monitor
6. Brands Preferred (ex. Samsung, Acer, Asus, AOC, HP, Viewsonic, etc. )
N/A, open to suggestions
7. Brands Not Preferred (state reason why)
HP - never had much luck with HP stuff
8. Are You Buying More Than One Monitor?
Yes, this will hopefully be a 2 monitor setup
9. How Many Displays Can Your GPU Support Maximum? And what GPU and driver version are you using if applicable?
Computer supports 2 displays AFAIK. GPU is a NVIDA GeForce RTX 2070 w/Max-Q, 25.21.14
10. What Port Do You Want To Connect To (ex. DVI-D, HDMI, etc).
A bonus would be to keep cables connected to the monitor for both of my computers (both laptops):
First and primary computer (gaming) has 1 HDMI out, 1 mini-DP out, and 1 video capable USB-C
Second computer has 1 HDMI out and 1 video capable USB-C
11. Is This Monitor A Primary Display Or A Secondary Display?
Primary and Secondary (two monitor display) but I do not want cameras or speakers
12. Is This A Secondary Display For A Laptop?
