I have been using my PC for quite a while now where my PSU is connected directly to the wall socket but recently in our area, I have come across a situation where there are voltage fluctuations almost everyday..
Its like sometimes the light and the fan would get almost turned off but then suddenly the fan would start to rotate at a high speed and the light will glowextremely bright and then again back to normal and then again repeat..
That is why I have decided to buy a UPS but I am confused with what VA and Watt UPS to buy for my PC.
My PC specs:
Proccy: i5 13600KF
GPU: RTX 3070ti
Mobo: Gigabyte B760M D2H
RAM: 16GBx2 DDR5 ram
Storage: 2x HDD + 1x SSD + 2xM.2
CPU cooling: Noctua NH-D15
Extra fans: 6x 120mm fans + 1x 140mm fan
Monitor: Samsung Odyssey 25-inch LS25BG400EWXXL
[ I have decided to connect the monitor which is probably max 35W to the UPS since without the monitor I won't be able to do anything in case of a powercut ]
Note: I have undervolted my CPU since it was hitting 100C almost instantly on cinebench and it has been like that for as long as I have been using the pc.
My typical use timings are around 6-8 hours on weekdays and 10-12hours on weekends. My tyical work mostly includes browsing the internet and occasional gaming (that too on either low or medium settings)
I have read somewhere that a 1500VA UPS will do fine but I still need to ask the experts before I make the purchase.
