Looking for sapphire radeon r9 290 equivalent

Hi,

Sadly I'm facing artifact problem* with my sapphire radeon r9 290 and I do not have warranty anymore.

I would like to buy a new card which is equivalent. I'm not looking for any upgrade. I want a card which is stable and which will not die in 3 years (until now all my computers had no problem until at least 5+ years). I will not overclock it or thing like that.

My motherboard is B85-43 gaming.

Before you start looking for a new card, did you try a clean Windows setup? What is your power supply brand and model?

If you want to go with AMD again, probably the card to match the 290 would be the RX 470. For nVidia, the 1060 3GB should do it.

Yes I tried so many things ... But you are right tonight I will try, again, a clean windows setup.
I will try "again" because the problem seems random, meaning normally after the format everything should work fine until one day (surprise) one artifact will appear, and then it will be a nightmare again. But I think I realised that when artifact started it was related to when I launched No Man's Sky ... and also when I upgrade windows 8.1 to 10.

So tonight clean windows 8.1, no no man's sky, and no windows 10. Let's see how long the card can survive.

About the card, yes I think 1060 3gb look really good as a replacement, I found this one : https://shop.hardware.fr/fiche/AR201708090066.html
About this one, do you have a "judgment" about Inno3d fiability ?
