Hi so my problem is basically that I don't have enough USB ports on my computer and I have to keep switching out one of my hard drives to the other depending on what game I want to play, so I was thinking instead of getting a USB splitter I might be able to put them inside of my computer because I know I have enough SATA ports. but the problem is I can't find any adapters that I could use, does anyone know what the actual name of them are and whether it would be a good idea getting those over the external splitters.

they are external hard drives but i want to see if i can put them inside of my computer to save space and to open up some usb ports in the back

Remove them from the external enclosures. This will expose the SATA ports.
Connect them to your SATA ports just like any other drive.

i just removed the case and i cant see any way that i would be able to put a SATA cable onto it. am i meant to put it straight into my computer, if so how and where?

Pictures, please.
Generally, there is some interface between the drive and the enclosure.
The drive is almost certainly just a regular SATA drive.
