Solution
Does it show bios screen? is there any sign of life? does it start to laod windows and then stop on a black screen?

download this on another pc and make a win 10 install usb or dvd: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10/
change boot order on laptop to whatever you made first, hdd second
boot installer
on screen after language choices, select repair this pc, not install
select troubleshoot
select advanced
select start up repair - this will scan files and maybe fix your loading issue - will ask for logon details

make the installer and try that method I showed above.

if it doesn't work, you could try a reset
if there anything on laptop you want to save, use this: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/use-ubuntu-live-cd-to-backup-files-from-your-dead-windows-computer/
boot from installer again, select repair this pc again
select reset from 1st menu screen
2 choices, keep files and settings (recommended) and wipe everything. Both will delete all your programs but one will at least keep all the files saved in libraries (My documents, music, pictures, etc.)
which ever you chose, windows will save a few things and then restart pc and reinstall win 10

was this an upgrade from win 7 or 8, or a fresh install? If upgrade, I would suggest a fresh install at some stage as it can fix all sorts of problems.
