Build Advice Looking for some advice about upgrading parts.

First of all, sorry if it's not the correct section, couldn't find it since it's not just about one parts.

I would like to upgrade my CPU and my RAM. Current specs are.

Ryzen 5 5600 (Non-X)
MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max
16Gb Corsair Vengeance DDR4
RTX 3060 12Gb (Not Ti)
SSD M.2 1To

I know that I want at least 32Gb of RAM but for the CPU I'm really not sure, I play a lot of Escape From Tarkov and I feel like the game is laggy sometimes, I also play a lot of Call Of Duty and newer games. I wanted to have some advice before going further with my purchases. Thanks very much and sorry again if it's not the right section for my post.

Budget?

If staying AM4, the 5800x3D is a good choice.

However if you live close to Micro Center I would go AM5 bundle.

The 5800x3d seems high for a deadplatform to me personally.

4070 would be a card upgrade.

A Ryzen 5 5600 paired with an RTX 3060 seems pretty balanced. If you replace the CPU I'm not sure what benefit you would get without a more powerful GPU. Unless you play first-person shooters with all the details on low?
