I'd like to get some advice on what I should be focusing on Upgrading next. Here's my Current build

CPU: Intel - Core i5-7600K
GPU: EVGA GTX 1060 SSC
Cooler: NZXT - Kraken X62 Liquid CPU Cooler
SSD: Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 250GB
HDD: Seagate - BarraCuda 1TB
PSU: EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 650W 80+ Gold
RAM: 16GBs Corsair DDR4 2666mhz

Extra information:
I play at 1080p 60hz,
Monitor: x2 Asus - VE278H 27.0" 1920x1080
My budget is around 500 British Pounds to spend on upgrades can go higher if the upgrade is considerably worth it.

Thank you for taking the time.

As long as you play at 1080p/60hz, you are already at the sweet spot for CPU vs GPU. But the OC'ed i5-7600K would handle a GTX 1070 if you wanted to go that route. Or/and upgrade to the i7-7700K if you feel you need more CPU power.
The other option would be to go for a bigger SSD. One that would handle all your games.

I basically agree. You have a good CPU and a good GPU for your setup. The 1060 is a 6GB? You don't do streaming while playing?

Personally I'd get more drive space. My OS sits on my first SSD, a Samsung 470 120GB. This Cmas season I'm looking to get a 1TB SSD and move my steam folder off my 840pro to the 1TB, and move windows from the 120 to the 256GB SSD. This should allow me to install more of my games and increase my windows speed greatly. The cost of SSDs is really going down right now so it wouldn't be much. Not everyone needs this kind of space but that's what I noticed when I saw your setup.

Because you basically have a really good system right now, I'd also look at getting other nice things. Perhaps a great chair to sit in? High end mouse and/or keyboard? Better desk? Speakers/headphones? As Clutchc said you're already at the sweet spot. So perhaps something else to make your gaming experience better is what you need.

Sorry, I forgot to mention the Graphics Card Size, It's the 6GB version yes and I don't stream. I only use the system for gaming. How long do you think it would take before my current combination of CPU|GPU will become outdated

Really depends on how long it takes for new game engines to show up. I would think you'd be running all ultra or high for at least another 2 years. Might need to turn a few things down here and there, but you should be good for awhile.

Sounds promising,

Would you recommend me upgrading to maybe a GTX 1070/1080 or even a 2070 just to secure that future proof for longer?

I would worry about what to upgrade to when you need to start upgrading. 1080/60Hz is very doable for the 1060 6GB. There is a game here and there where you might get 45-55FPS, but most will be 60+. I would stay with the 1060 and worry about upgrading when you need the extra power. Not because you can get a deal on a card now.

I’ll also ask about peripherals - better headset or keyboard maybe? Oculus Rift? 16gb ram?

If not anything like that, start planning a way ahead e.g. If you play multiplayer shooters, think about a faster refresh monitor with gsync, then a gpu upgrade to push it harder, then mobo/cpu to let it max out. All that can be spaced out over months/years.

If you like visual quality more, get 27” 1440p/60 with gsync then proceed with above.

I currently have 16GBs of Ram yes, If I was to upgrade to 1440/60 gsync could you recommend me a good 27” Monitor? I mainly play all sorts of games, Destiny 2, Skyrim, Fallout ect.. So it’s always a mixture.

Think you will be ok with a 1060 and 1440p. I get 100fps in BF1 with a 1070 so a 1060 will still clear 60 in most games, and when it doesn’t gsync keeps it smooth.

You might run games at high instead of ultra but 1440/high looks better than 1080/ultra every day of the week. I’ve run BF1 in both confugurations and it was clearly a better visual.

Looks like no one is doing 1440p/60 gsync, they’re all 144hz and that’s ok. The Dell in my sig is great and comes in just under budget and you can grow into it with the upgrade path above:

Edit: given you already have 27” screens I’d recommend looking at 1440p 27” in a store to see if you can perceive enough difference to justify the investment.

I think what I’m going to do honestly is upgrade to the 1070ti > 1440p GSync Monitor then MB|CPU upgrade later if need be.

Personally I'm not a fan of 1440. 1080 or 4k, 1440 doesn't match up to 1080 well. A 1440 monitor needs to use interpolation in order to display things at 1080, and how well that works depends on the monitor.

https://hardforum.com/threads/1080p-on-1440p-monitor.1846080/

Due to this "issue", I'm in the 1080 or 4k only camp. You might get 1440 working well for you, but for me because I know what's going on behind the scenes it will drive me crazy. I don't think I'd try to pair the 1060 with a 1440 monitor. It handles 1080 pretty good, but even there it's at the upper end of what it can do. You'll have to turn off a bit more to make 1440 work well, and it won't look as good.
