Looking for some feedback on my system please

Hey I just wanted some opinions on this system I'm going to be getting soon. I'm mostly going to be using it for gaming. I want to be able to run the most graphically demanding games on the highest setting while also downloading and or streaming movies on a second monitor. Please keep in mind that price is not an issue. I am also trying to make sure that heat is low and noise is going to be very minimal

1.) You are buying a prebuilt PC. I guarantee that you can buy this same build for a lot less.

2.) That being said, this is a vastly overkill build.

3.) You definitely do not need a 3960X. An i5-3570K would be fine.

4.) Do you really need a 512GB SSD? I think most would be fine with a 128GB or 256GB.

5.) Do not get the Velociraptors. You're not getting that much more speed. Just stick to 7,200 RPM.

6.) Way too much RAM. Even the most extreme gaming just needs 8GB.

7.) 2133MHz? You'd be fine with 1600MHz.

8.) You'd be fine with Windows 7 Home Premium

9.) Way too big of a PSU.

10.) Don't need a sound card.

11.) Better to get 2x 670's or 2x 7970's.

You really overspending on parts you don't need. You don't need to buy top of the line parts just to game. Most people just use an i5 and 8GB of RAM. Combined with a 670, you'll max games just as well as this build.

Just as a side note;

@ OP, your rig is mostly suited for Workstations given the price point and platform.

There is no way you will need an i7 3960X for gaming; people buy those CPU's if they want either - 1) Bragging rights, or 2) Time is money and they need all the horsepower they can get.

That is way overkill for a gaming computer. Everything Obsama said is right you don't need a six core I5, 512 Gig SSD, GTX 690 or a 1000 Watt PSU.
