Question Looking for some help on first PC build - MOTHERBOARD now flashing orange

HI - hoping someone can help me as total novice. Setting up the PC and had it all working - then in the Bios...and all stopped. went into advanced settings - turned off fast boot and made CSM auto. I then restated - it turned on and then I went to uefi and changed to windows. Now we have nothing - motherboard (ASUS) has slow blinking main lights and nothing happening. we have tried restart - but nothing at all - the main lights that were solid are now flashing. Please excuse the errors in what I have typed - but as you can see a total first time! Would appreciate any help - thanks

Well, I would recommend downloading the newest drivers for the motherboard and updating it. If your motherboard can instal BIOS updates without a CPU, then if you have the possibility, remove any hardware from the motherboard and just leave it plugged in (in the power supply) and then update it.

The first thing I would do is clear the CMOS (RTC) because Obviously your MB did NOT like the changes you made to the BIOS settings.
Look on Page 1-2 of your manual to see the location of the CLRRTC jumper.
Then follow the steps listed on page 1-12.
