Looking for suggestions or critiques on a first time build

I decided to build my first computer, instead of ordering from one of those websites. I looked up parts, and found it would be cheaper to do it this way, and I can get something that will last me a while.

I've run into a couple of questions, and am hoping someone can help me out.

I can't decide between an i5 7600k, with an Asrock Fatal1ty Z270 Gaming K6 MB or a Ryzen 5 1600x with a ASRock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming K4 MB.

Everything else is the same - MSI Raiden 580 8GB, 2x8 GSkill Ripjaws V DDR4 3200, Seasonic EVO 620W modular PSU, EVGA CLC 120 AIO and a NZXT H440 case

I'm just getting into gaming, and want something that is still going to be a good system in 3-4 years, or that I can easily upgrade CPU without ripping apart the entire system.

Does anyone have any thoughts/suggestions/changes they would make?

I'm looking at about $1100 now with the case, and I'm trying to stay under $1200. I already have a monitor/keyboard/mouse.

Definitely Ryzen, 2 more cores/hyper threading, better on the long run. However, I won't spend extra money on 1600X. 1600 can be easily OCed to the same Hz with your MB. Ryzen stock cooler is pretty good, you can save on the extra cooler. Good pick on PSU, many people ignored importance of a reliable PSU :)
