Looking for suggestions to fix massive FPS drop

I was gone for a weekend then when I came back my fps in csgo had dropped by over 45%. I started by looking for malware, but came up empty. Then, I looked at my usages from my GPU and CPU and realized I was maxing out my CPU and getting less than 50% GPU. So, I don't know what to do...

That is strange indeed. Have you tried using a different type of virus scanner? Likes MalwareBytes or AVG Free? Someone must have used your computer while you're gone. There's no way this would happen out of thin air.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. I don't know what happened but it basically makes my 144hz screen obsolete.
