So I don't know anything about hdd's or ssd's other than ssd's are faster. Can you guys please link a good M.2 ssd at 250gb; an hdd at 1tb; and a normal ssd at 1tb. Don't worry about the budget. Also, I'm thinking about going for the classic 1tb hdd and 250gb ssd for windows. Tell me if there's a better combo. Thank you very much, I've been curious for many months now.

Solution
For SSD buy Samsung. M.2 is a form-factor. There are M.2 SATA and M.2 NVMe. You need to determine what the slot in your motherboard supports.

If you don't care about cost, then get a 500GB SSD. Prices are down to where a 500GB disk is what a 250GB used to cost. I am a fan of HGST HDDs.
