Question Looking for the best option

I'm looking for a new phone due to the fact that mine won't let me make phone calls.
I was trying to get the best phone available for under $300.
I am currently looking at the Moto G7 for the fact of the decent camera does anyone have any other suggestions?

G7 is good, the new Pixel 3a is also very good, although over $300, unless you have an iPhone to trade in, then you can get it lowered quite a bit.

Better get the Moto X4.

I got the same phone last month. It's a mid-range phone but has some premium features like NFC, water/dust resistance, metal and glass build, etc, which are not available in the Moto G7.

Performance and endurance wise, both are more or less the same, however except for the bigger bigger screen, i really don't see any point to get Moto G7 over Moto X4.

Moto x4 was advertised to be a camera centric phone, though Moto G7 is also very good, but if you're a selfie freak, you'll love the Moto x4 as it's front camera is 16 MP, 2 times that of the Moto G7.
