[SOLVED] looking for the name of a game from early 2000's

it was an educational game that my mum used to be able to pick up the next version every month or so from the local newsagents - all i remember is that it had a character called Biff/ Bartholomew who was a hippo or a rhino (may not even be one of them) and a Mouse, there were more characters but i can't remember them.

This has been annoying me for about two months and i just need to know the name!!
