Iv had a full hayperx membrane keyboard for a long time now and I love it and am looking to switch to a mechanical keyboard but would like it to fell as close to my hyperx one as much as possible. What sould I go for?

Solution
Here's the thing: a mechanical keyboard is going to feel different from a membrane keyboard. So if you want something as close to your current keyboard as possible, then I'd recommend staying with your current keyboard which will feel exactly like your current keyboard, by definition!

A mechanical keyboard's strength is feeling better than your current keyboard. And the answer there depends on how easy you want to be able to push the keys and what kind of tactile feedback you want, if any.

What is your budget? Where are you located and what type of a mechanical switch are you looking for? Also would help us multiple fold, if we knew what you're going to be primarily using the keyboard for., i.e if typing is your first preference or gaming. If gaming, what sort of games?

Just so we're on the same page, you're talking about the HyperX Alloy Core keyboard?
