Hi I'm currently thing about getting a new monitor. But I have no clue which one to choose. I wish to play bf1 when that comes out at 1440p at at least 100 fps on high. So if a new graphics card is needed I will get a 1080.

I5 4690k overclocked to 4.6hz
Gtx 980 ti gigabyte xtreme gaming
Samsung 850 evo m.2 500gb ssd
Gigabyte gaming 3 mobile of some sort
24gb 1600 ram (I <3 ram XD)
2X1TB WB Black in raid 1 for documents
2tb Seagate sshd for games

My current monitor is a LG 24GM77 24-Inch 144Hz

The Asus PG278Q ticks all the boxes. everything you need (only TN panels are capable of 1ms).

I just ordered one myself yesterday. I would recommend waiting for some sales or any kind of offer coming between now and the BF1 release.

your 980Ti would be perfect for it, same performance as GTX1070.

Frank is the monitor sounds great but it's probably a bit pricey at $959 on mwave (ps I'm in Australia so AUD not USD)
Maybe a similar monitor without the lighting and just less pricey. Maybe around the $750 -800 AUD
