Hello.
I'm planning to upgrade my pc a lil bit and i'm kinda stuck inbetween the choices so i'm calling for your advices :)
my pc specs right now
vga: asus gtx 750ti oc 2gb (pretty darn old)
cpu: intel i3 8100 ( 4 cores are making me crazy)
cpu cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo
ram: 16gb (1x16) G.skill Aegis DDR4-2400 DIMM CL15 (it's a single module)
mobo: msi b360 gaming plus (supported memory module : DDR4 2133, DDR4 2400, DDR4 2666)
psu: 500w be quiet! pure power 11 Non-Modular 80+ Gold ( is it enough for the upgrade i listed below?)
HDD (or better call HDDs): an old 500gb Seagate BarraCuda 7200. 12 ST3500418AS 16mb
and a new 1tb Seagate BarraCuda ST1000DM010 64mb
Case: Corsair Carbide Spec-05

What i am aiming for:
vga; msi gtx 1660ti ventus
cpu: i5 9400f
case fans x3

all together 460 euros
600€ is my upgrade budget.
So if any changes or other upgrades should be done please lemme know
and before u recommend SSD i have to say my C is always heavy since i download so much with IDM.
so if it's gonna be a SSD, it's gonna be a fat one,But does it worth the money?

I'd get the SSD, is 1TB enough?

SSD's, imho, are well worth the money due to the increased speed and pricing has gone down quite a bit in the last few years. The one recommended below is quite fast and is a solid choice for the money and your motherboard supports it. I would also put the OS onto the SSD. Before swapping the CPU over make sure your motherboard BIOS is updated enough to support the 9th gen. For the most part you should see a good performance increase although you would of been better off if you had a 2x8gb kit instead of that single stick as most applications including games usually run better in dual channel.

Tnx for the quick replay man.
Loved the ideas
especially the SSD part.
i think even a 500gb will be enough but that's cool.
but i'm not still sure about the ram
u mean it's better to just change the whole ram model and go for 2x8 new ones instead of adding another 16gb gskill aegis (the one that i already have) right?

When it comes to memory your always better replacing it then adding in another stick even if identical as it may not even boot. Memory is tested to work together which is why it's sold in kits but the performance difference between the single stick and a 2x8gb kit may not be enough to justify having to sell the kit and buy a 2x8gb kit.
