Looking for the right motherboard

Hello,

I am looking to find a motherboard with this options:
1. PCI 2.0/3.0 x16 for a video card
2. PCI 2.0/3.0 x8 for a RAID adapter

What do you recommend to buy to get both PCI slots working at the max speed in the same time listed above?

Only X79 & Z77 chipsets support PCIe 3.0 x16 graphics cards. If you don't want LGA2011 (X79) then you'll have to get a LGA1155 (Z77) motherboard.


EDIT: Z68 chipsets (LGA1155) also support PCIe 3.0

Connect your video card to PCIEX16_1 and your RAID card to PCIEX8_2.

Slots PCIEX16_2 and PCIEX8_1 would have to remain empty in order for you to get max speeds.
