Looking for the right wire.

The PSU is a rocketfish RF-900WPS. I Don't any wires for both the 6 pins and the 8 pins. I have a EVGA 960 Has a 8pin it came with a Y adaptor 6x2 to 8. Question is I'm looking for the right wire to go from the PSU to either the Y adaptor or if I can an 8 to the 8 wire.

Put that adapter back in the video card box, use one of the 6+2 pin PCI-E cables from the power supply right into the video card.

That psu has three 6pin pcie connectors and three 6+2pin connectors. Plug one of those into the gpu. Do not use the adapter, you dont need to.

What? No you dont. That psu has a 6+2pin which is an 8pin that can also be a 6pin. Plug the 6+2pin into your gpu with the +2 attached. Thats all you have to do.

Ok I get that but I'm having a hard time finding a wire with the right ends on both sides that will fit in to both the GPU and PSU.

The cable you need should of came with your power supply. It will be a 6+2 on one end and a 8 pin on the other.

Thanks for your help. Probably not going to try and contact them, so that's why i came on here.
