Hello! I have trouble with some games. I loose a lot of fps when playing even at low graphics. It always been the case but now its worse than before (ex fortnite and and league of legends) I loose fps while playing those games and my computer heats a lot despite having recommended specs for playing these games.

My only suspicion is my power supply, wich is 500W. I heard it is not enough for gaming set ups. What kind of power supplu would you recommend me? TIA

Solution
I don't think it's the PSU, for the heat you should just clean your system, replace the thermal paste and look on youtube how to disassemble your GPU and replace the thermal paste as well.
For the FPS drops the thing that at fault here is the HDD, it just not fast enough to load the next frame and it causes frame drops.
I recommend you buy an SSD and install windows on it and all your games.
Here a 500GB SSD for 65$: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0784SLQM6/ref=as_li_ss_tl?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=ll1&tag=xm3a06-20&linkId=9114fc736e6578679f2390920e409351
If you still want to replace the PSU then I recommend you buy this one...

This PSU will be more then enough for your system and will last you a long time.

Solution
I'd agree. Never heard of psu being a frame rate issue. I'd look at that more for a boot issue or lock up issue etc., but not really frame rates. I don't mean to downplay the importance of the psu, as I always read threads about making sure not to cut corners there, but as a frame rate issue, that's not where I'd start either.

Ive changed the thermal paste and it seems that it improved my fps while gaming. I still get some lost frames so I will wait till I receive my SSD (the one you recommended me).
