looking for under 12000rs processor

can anyone tell if i plan to change the processor will it would be helpful?
changing processor has any link to game performance?
nxt mnth i want to do so.........i would rather go for i5 than i7.as it is costlier?
which processor and which generation would i plug to have a decent gaming PC.....
my dh55tc motherboard would support which processor....
i dont would to change my motherboard...please help....
i would have arould 12000rs apart from GPU i.e 750ti..........

The 55 series chipset is for the LGA1156 socket, and that's really old. I have no clue about new prices for CPUs that old, available in India. What processor do you have now? As a guide, for gaming you need to focus on CPU speed in Mhz for your situation. The main difference between chips will be their core speed. The i5 680 is about the fastest chip for that socket, I think.

For the socket you have moving up to an i5 or i7 and also improving the processor speed would help, but you have an old system. I'd be saving my money for a complete re-build.

how much will it cost minimum for a complete rebuild.........
my 8 gb ddr3 ram.......will thar motherboard support or not.............
my DRAM frequency is 665.1MHz,dual channel,DC mode-symmetric,NB frequency-2127.7MHz...
which new motherboard with processors would support my RAMs???

A H81 motherboard and i3 4150 to 4170 would have at least a 3.50Ghz clock and a 25% generational advantage for about 50% faster and will use you existing DDR3. That CPU would cost about 11,000Rs, and a 3.2 Ghz i5 4460 would cost about 16,000 Rs. and a motherboard would start at about 4,000Rs, although I'd want to spend more of your money

about to how much total amount should i spend minimum for a decent gaming PC.....
can i go for AMD processor which would be same as i5 in performance.......would it be cheaper than intel.............
i want good performance that would long last........

ok..........then should i go for this amount or get a better GPU for rs20000........would this work........
my main purpose is gaming.......i changing motherboard+processor better or getting GPU in regarding to gaming performance?

i meant that rs 20000 for AMD is better than rs 20000 for intel processor is better.......which processor+motherboard is better in both for the same amount?
