I am running Win 7 Ultimate 64 on Asus P5E3 Deluxe with 8 Gig Ram, 80 Gig SSD, and one Nvidia GeForce 6600 and one GeForce 8600 GT. Using only 3 monitors.

The Windows Experience Index says that my Graphics Subscore is 4.0. which is a little more that half of all of the other Subscores. Although I do not run intense graphics or games or CAD etc, I am sort of anal about this and would like to bring my Graphics Subscore up on par with the rest of the system. I am not much of a tech, so I have no idea of what options to consider. I don't even know if the Experience Index really means anything.

My objective is to speed up the Graphics for my first 2 monitors only. I only rarely use the third monitor, so I am thinking that I need to upgrade only one Graphics card.

Any help / suggestions will be appreciated.

What are you trying to speed up? Is your goal just to get the windows index number up? If your computer is running the programs you want to run just fine, I would not worry about it. The windows index really doesn't mean all that much from what I have read on here. The highest that number will go is 7.9. Something like a GTX 660 or AMD 7870 will get it close to max if that is what you want to do.

Well as you dont run itense games you dont need to upgrade. AND for 3 monitors Nvidia cant use 3 monitors on 1 card(Gaming). You need SLI to do that. So get an AMD card .

But as your cards are doing well you dont need to upgrade !
