Looking for VGA to Display Port Adapter

Have desktop PC with VGA output and monitor with display port input. Is there an adapter that will effectively bridge the two??

far as I know they only works one way ? and that's to convert digital from your card / motherboard to analog to a monitor ?

what you should do is contact these guys or a manufacture of these converters ?

hard to believe your motherboard or graphics card don't have anything but vga on it ??

You'll have spend a lot of money, like $80 to $100 on an active adapter.

They make plenty of DP -> DVI passive adapters that are like $5, but going up from vga to DP is the hard thing.
