Solution J J junkeymonkey Oct 4, 2016 far as I know they only works one way ? and that's to convert digital from your card / motherboard to analog to a monitor ? what you should do is contact these guys or a manufacture of these converters ? https://www.startech.com/ hard to believe your motherboard or graphics card don't have anything but vga on it ??

Been a long, long time since I have seen a machine with only VGA. If it is only VGA, it is probably time to consider replacing it. Upvote 0 Downvote
