I'm looking into a custom gaming computer for myself. I don't really have a budget as this is going to be a long project and will take some time.

I've got a general look at what parts I want for the moment, ( http://pcpartpicker.com/p/27gFq ) and a list of random specs that I'm looking at trying to get from a few online gamers that I think look like they have good specs.

Computer Specs:
i7 3930k Six-Core at 3.2ghz
2x GTX 680 SLI
16gb of DDR3 RAM
Windows 7 64bit

Software:
Sony Vegas Pro 12 : Video editing (This thing crashes way too damn much.)
Bandicam : Game video/audio recording
Audacity : Commentary recording
Microphone: Audio-Technica AT2035

Whats your computer spec?

i7 930
GTX 460 Nvidia
6GB DDR3
SSD Intel 120 GB
500 GB Caviar Blue (ugh )
Fractial Designs R3 Case

What mouse, keyboard and webcam do you have?
Microsoft, microsoft, logitech. (Basic stuff)

How do you record your screen?
FRAPS, (I own all the software I use legally, but most of them have a trial version if
you want to try them out first.)

How do you record your webcam?
Windows Movie Maker

Which software do you use for encoding?
Adobe Premiere Pro CS5, I recommend Sony Vegas if you're new to editing it's just
as good and easier to use.

I use a regular digital camcorder, greenscreen and chroma key to put myself in the
corner.

Record PC Games with FRAPS, or BandiCam

Console Games recorded with Elgato HD.

Logitech G35 Headset

RE 20

Computer Specs

Intel i7 2600k 3.40(GHz)
GeForce GTX 560 Ti
16GB Ram
240GB SSD
320GB HD
1TB External HD
64 bit Operating System

Like I said, it's going to be a long project but I'm just looking for good power but somewhat cheaper.

Thanks!
